ADM Milling – Calgary, 2010

December 19, 2010

This is one of two shots I took of this site.  I lost one of them due to misprocessing.  I’ve almost figured out rotary processing.  I lost the one negative to improper fixing.  It developed white blotches under the scanner light.  I’m hoping that this one will be ok in a few weeks because I’m probably going to run an edition of 16×20′s of this.  Here’s a link to a 1000 pixel high version and another link to a detail.  Like all 4×5, this is the equivalent to about 100 megapixels.  I can’t wait to print it in the darkroom!

This was shot in the Foot Hills industrial district of Calgary.  I shot it on 4×5 FP4 Plus and rotary processed in Ilfosol-S for 5:30 min.  It’s shots like these that make me happy I have a 4×5 available to use.
