About
My own artistic interests lie in the regions of personal identity contrasted against society as a whole. I aim to illustrate the environments people live within. Usually my work involves rural and urban areas where the landscape has been altered by society. Whether it’s a building rising from asphalt or canola fields in soil tilled for a hundred years, I try to capture the traces of the urban center. Any large city affects makes a visible effect on the landscape within 100km or further.
Recently graduating from Alberta College of Art and Design in 2008 with a BFA: Media Arts & Digital Technologies, I was awarded a board of governor’s award for my major. I work full time as a web programmer and I’m currently building a body of fine-art photography for exhibitions. I do commercial shoots including events, interior spaces and architectural work. If you would like to see a portfolio in person you may contact me.
